The Vogue Series explores the themes of beauty and the passage of time, focusing on the societal pressure to conform to narrow, often unattainable beauty standards. Cover model beauty is portrayed as rigid and idealized—unrealistic for most and inevitably affected by aging. This is contrasted not only with the timeless and more inclusive beauty found in art, but also through the medium itself. The fluidity and unpredictability of alcohol ink mirror the natural, ever-changing aspects of identity and aging, standing in stark contrast to the fixed, polished images promoted by the media. By placing these elements in opposition, the series challenges viewers to reconsider what beauty means and how it evolves over time.
